Situated in the beautiful coastal town of Cullen which is a picturesque and very popular historic town on the Moray Firth coast with a lovely harbour, sandy beach (an excellent spot for sunbathing or swimming), 18-hole links golf course and impressive former railway viaducts.This is a popular area attracting many visitors who enjoy a warm welcome from locals and have the pleasure of range of activities being on hand including golfing, fishing, coastal and hill walks and being a convenient base for those seeking to visit distilleries, cycle tracks and numerous historic places of interest.The village is noted for Cullen Skink, a traditional soup made from smoked haddock, milk, potato and onion, and its former railway bridges, two of which are now part of the national cycle network. The most westerly, and by far the longest, viaduct is highly photogenic, and appears often in tourist guides and in Scottish calendars. The Royal Oak Hotel nestled below a viaduct is a stones throw from the beach, harbour and golf course. We have a large car park and are happy to accommodate cyclists, golfers and walkers and have lockable storage facilities on site to cater for.
